They will be upgrading memory and main processor engine in one of our Cisco routers at our Sonoma Mountain broadcast site. It is estimated to take place at 7:15pm and be completed by 7:45pm. During this maintenance window, our valued customers in the Petaluma and Rohnert park service areas may briefly lose Internet connectivity or see slowdowns - but only during the stated window. After the router upgrade, engineers will be relocating some of our network servers to newly fortified space following further steps to fulfill our diverse location architecture. This new location has been designed and built specifically for our servers and will provide very robust and redundant network connectivity. (The space also has a few remaining collocation spots for key customers desiring disaster preparedness collocation - contact Vista Sales if interested). During this relocation some customers may lose connectivity to web hosting, email and primary name services (NS1). Our secondary and redundant configurations will remain operational. Work is estimated to begin at 8:30pm and be completed by 11pm. This maintenance falls within our standard agreed to optional maintenance window timings to continue to provide our customers the best service. Please contact Vista support if you have any questions or concerns. We appreciate your patience during this planned maintenance and our network improvements for you.
