Planned Network
Maintenance: Wednesday Evening, 11/12/2008 9pm to 11pm
This upcoming Wednesday evening Vista Engineers will be moving our
secondary name server (NS2.VistaBroadband.com) to a new physical
location within our newly expanded backbone network. This is the next
step in our continual commitment to provide robust, uninterrupted
network services to our customers. We have upgraded and fortified many
new network segments specifically focused on providing increased
availability and scalable resources to meet our customer’s needs via a
geographically distributed privately owned, telco independent
infrastructure. This new location for ns2 is has multiple paths to the
Internet as well as within Vista's infrastructure via “Vista Fiber” (1
Gbps) and dual OC3 (310 Mbps) FCC privately licensed microwave radio
paths.
The maintenance should take less than an hour and during this, we do
not expect any service interruption to our customers, as our primary
name server (ns1) will keep dns requests moving right along as we
relocate ns2. We appreciate your patience during this planned
maintenance.
Please call or email our support team with any questions or concerns.
